4.0 out of 5 stars Great!, 5 May 2010
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the books of the Imaginarium Geographica. It was great fun imagining and reading about famous writers, philosophers and prophets, seeing bits of their possible personalities. It almost brought them back alive and as most of them are greatly admired people, the idea that they could still be around, influencing happenings and literature made these books very endearing. I'm sure many people would jump at the possibility at talking to and listening to these great personalities and the book almost gives one the feeling one is doing so, even though it is all of course made up... or not?!... a real Imaginarium Geographica... ;-)

Hair Braiding (Usborne Hotshots) by Fiona Watt

I found this book to be quite misleading, as I had bought it to have some tips on how to braid my afro-british daughters hair. As this book is called hair braiding and the cover shows a beautiful african girl with braided hair, I thought this would be the right "hand-" book. Unfortunately the whole book "only" shows how to braid european hair and the girl's hairstyle of the cover is not even mentioned in this book. Obviously the african girl was only used to enhance the cover. I was quite disappointed. However, should you need advise on how to braid european hair, this book gives you some easy tips.
