I seem to be a bit of a bag collector. Different Backpacks for different activities, different camera bags for different situations.
This one was bought to fit in my snowboard & walking packs while still being able to have my telephoto zoom attached (70-200mm f4L).
When it came i was nicely surprised. Very well constructed, comes with a shoulder strap, a hand carry strap, also a strap round the bottom which i presume is for going round your thigh so stop it bouncing about. Other nice extras are the attached cleaning cloth and (i found in a hidden pocket some weeks later) a memory card wallet.

I bought this camera in Nov/Dec 2012 and have hardly used it since. It was to be a back up for my dslr's i.e. when they were too heavy/no appropriate to carry. I didn't expect a cheap camera like this to have the same quality as my 4-d or 1000d, but what I did expect is for it to be better than my 10 year old 4mp ixus. Given it cost £300 new then and this is about £100 (less on the black Friday deal) i figured they would be comparable given how technology and prices move.
Boy was I wrong, Images suck even when not pixel peeping they don't look good. I don't know if this camera is a victim of the pixel race and cramming too many in or if it's just bad or perhaps I just have a bad… Read more
