5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent polytunnel book, 22 April 2011
For anyone who uses their polytunnel to grow vegetables and fruit then I can highly recommend this book. It has a short section on how to site and put up the polytunnel but the greater part of the book is what gardeners need year on year - help growing things. There is a month by month guide, a section where each vegetable/fruit is detailed individually and a section on pests and diseases as well as advice on how to maintain the production of the polytunnel over many years (maintenance, soil fertility, compost, fertilisers etc). It is all very clearly laid out with some lovely inspirational photos and highlighted tips. Excellent resource for anyone wanting to get the best from their… Read more
Learning Resources Caught in the Web An Insect Gam&hellip by Learning Resources

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected, 27 Jun 2009
I had read good reviews of this game and bought it for my sons. It has turned out to be really rather boring - if you know about insects you'll do well, if not you won't, you'll be left in the midle of the web missing goes and so getting bored very quickly. To advance you need to answer a true/false question correctly but several of these are very ambiguous e.g. Are insects found in all parts ot the world? Answer true (except the Antarctic). That makes the answer false to me. Once you have been through all the question cards the game becomes defunct. It may have it's place in the classroom or in a nature club but for a play at home toy I cannot recommend it.
