Hunt of the Bandham (The Bowl of Souls Book 3) by Trevor H. Cooley
For all of it's problems books like this are why the kindle is great, a little self published gem like this series. I picked up the first book on a whim because of the low price and intriguing description and also because I liked the idea of the moonrats. I am glad I did, this series has been absorbing, volume 3 in particular has had some great parts and kept me hooked for hours not wanting to put it down. A lot of the characters are coming together now and the book is building towards what will be an interesting part four. I have loved Sanderson's work since I read the mistborn trilogy. This is no exception, his unique magic systems are well thought out. Although being a young adult book, I am well into adulthood and still do go found this a great read. The only problem is it ends in a way that is clearly leading into the next book and leaves u wanting more. It is steampunk Esq settings wise rather than his more fantasy based books, if this kind of thing puts you off, though I would urge against it. Sanderson shines here regardless of setting.
Writing Habit Mastery - How to Write 2,000 Words a&hellip by S.J. Scott
To leave a proper review I guess I would need to post this further down the road to see if anything has stuck, but as a quick read and from a low price point have taken away some handy advice and some pages of notes from pointers I found useful ad hope to use to improve. As with any kind of book like this the ultimate commitment is up to me/you and will get away what put into it. But found this to be a nice, easy to read book with some useful information and to be worth my kindle purchase.
