Shape Pilates for Pink Slimdown with Mari Winsor D&hellip
3.0 out of 5 stars nothing new!, 25 Aug 2014
This got 3 stars from me only because I have 2 other mari winsor pilates dvd and compare it to them. This is not a bad dvd, but there is little new in terms of exercises included in the workouts compared to the winsor pilates and lower body dvds. In particular the all body workout is exactly the same bar 1 exercise to the one offered in the pilates dvd. it is as if winsor only has a limited number of exercises and recycles them with each dvd which really beats the purpose of doing another one. what is new here is the attempt at pilates cardio which seems weird and unusual at first hand, but why not? what I like is that it is divided in various 15' workouts with various focus for the… Read more

I would call it a masterpiece in its genre, equally some of their previous fab work! You have the standout, personal fav, tracks (walk like you, bitter virtue, moving on, frozen Britain...), but the rest of the album doesn't veer too far from the superb either. These are all anthemic pop/rock songs with complex beautiful melodies (amazing how a trumpet can add value to… Read more
Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings ~ Counting Crows
3.0 out of 5 stars Deja Vu, 7 Feb 2014
I am a big CC fan and just bought this cd as I had bought all their previous endeavours. unfortunately for years, I tried to connect to it, identify a few gems which would stand the test of times. Nothing! I repeatedly got a feeling of indifference as the songs were passing through without anyone catching my attention. and recently, I've decided for the umpteenth time to give it another try. and suddenly it all clicked. I started to listen and appreciate it in a way that I never did before. the first part of the cd is clearly far superior to the second one. I like the rockier side which cc explored in their most underrated gem 'recovering the satellites'. these are good rock songs,… Read more
