This is a good model, but the lack of support provided by the company is inexcusable. I was unsure about whether to invest in this model, since the company provides no information about what surfaces this model is designed for. I noticed another reviewer said it works great on paper, but sometimes when I hit it off with a bloke at the pub, I'll write his number on my hand. Also, I wanted to get one for my daughter's birthday since she's such a gadget lover, but I was worried that she would be disappointed to find she could not write "Linda wuz here" on the desks at school. 2.0 out of 5 stars Rote learning, 14 Aug 2005
Well, it's certainly nicely illustrated, easy on the eyes and clear. However, it's very much written in a rote learning style. It simply tells you that phenomena occur, without telling you anything about why this is or how we know it. If you just want to memorize and don't really care about understanding, then it will suit you fine.
