1.0 out of 5 stars Could be a good game., 27 Sep 2013
This could be a really good game but bugs let it down hugely. Either that or I'm doing something wrong as there aren't any instructions. My main gripe is taking off the larger Boeing aircraft, once the aircraft are cleared for take off a small explosion occurs which requires maintenance, however there is no ability to redirect it back to the hangar and it just continues its trundle onto the runway. The aircraft has only one option as far as I can see and that is to take off which results in a crash! For those having problems with snow, look to garages where the tankers come from. When it snows a snowplough appears which can be instructed to clear the runway.

I find these books enjoyable and easy to read. Though I'm hoping the author will use a bit more imagination with the story line in the next books. The same old 'fleet escapes into new system, encounters the enemy fleet, fights/ escapes into new system' and repeat is becoming a little repetitive and boring.

However I found the character creation and development rather poor. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and felt there was no substance to them. The story itself races along at too fast a pace with little or no build up to each situation. I really wish the author had taken more time to develop the characters and the story as I feel… Read more
