I chose this as I want to start zentangle and was looking for an overall introduction. It was a complete waste of money, there are no useful instructions or help in starting up. It is just full of lovely ideas and pictures but all the comments say more or less the same thing that how it is best to do a course with a zentangle teacher. Ok fine but I am in France and there are none here and I felt it was far too pushy for the Zentangle brand. I have since bought One Zentangle a Day which is a much better book for actually learning to do the lovely designs. I resent paying for what is basically an advert for The Zentangle brand

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational, 30 Sep 2010
Bought this book before going on a jewellery making course for some background knowledge and it did just that. There's a large section at the beginning with facts about the individual semi-precious stones. The designs are so inspiring, bracelets, earings, necklaces & a few other accessories although not a lot of instruction on each one but after a bit of practice I found they were easy enough to follow. The third section covers the techniques for making up the jewellery with good photos & clear instructions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable but huge, 21 July 2009
These are very comfortable as they have such thick soles but the sizes are way out, unfortunately I ordered my normal size & they are far too big.
