Not a fan of most coaching books as find a lot of them not an easy read. This book breaks the mould for me. Excellent diagrams, easy to understand, well written text explaining the practices/ games and you can see Michael has given plenty of thought into putting this book together. A nice touch is most of the practices/ games have some extra text with Michaels thoughts on what he was trying to achieve.
There are plenty of well thought out and interesting practices/ small sided games to use covering all aspects of defending, and in doing so making them fun to use for my team. I'm not a fan of having my players standing around for a long time or having no end 'goal' to succed in learning… Read more
