I'm 11 years old .... well , I was in 1972 - and the Top Gear set is as much fun , if not more so , as it would have been to me back then. The track is a good shape , challenging in places , though I've since added to it by buying a 2nd hand scalextric set from crack converters. It's compatible with all 'sport' track as long as you shout at it in Clarksonesque fashion. The lap counter is a nice touch.... for about 5 minutes , after which the bleeping gets annoying. The lack of instructions for it is a black mark , though you can search online and download them.
