5.0 out of 5 stars XBMC goodness, 2 Jan 2014
I use this with 2gb of ram and a 16gb usb flash drive with openelec installed on it for XBMC. I use the Flirc receiver (check it out on Amazon) for the remote controls.

Time will tell if the thumb drive is up to the job of running an os directly from it without failing after a couple of months. Its running well so far. If that happens I will stick a mSata drive in it as nature intended.

I spent a while looking into the various methods of getting XBMC onto my TV without any compromises on features and speed. A 1gb network connection was a must for me to access media over SMB shares from a NAS drive. Also the ability to run 1080p at 60hz. A lot of the android based… Read more

I don't normally bother with product feedback but this is so specialist I thought I should.

To set this product up I used a windows 8 machine. I downloaded the software from the Flirc website and then sat baffled for 5 mins as to why it kept saying in the setup software that its disconnected even when I could clearly see in the windows hardware summary screen that it was detected. Basically you need to run the software as administrator. Right click the .exe file and 'Run as administrator'.

The setup is easy, select a keyboard button that you want to map and then point your remote (any remote at all) and press the corresponding button and it will learn the IR code and… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Constant freezes, 20 Nov 2012
The game itself has an interesting concept, North Korean occupation of the US, but the delivery is poor. The engine creaks and struggles to render the obviously sub 720p visuals that are being up rezzed. The show stopper for me were the freezes in the game which required a reboot of the PS3. The last straw was approximately three hours into the campaign and it froze to immediately freeze again on reboot. Life, as they say, is just too short and I have a backlog of games that do actually function correctly.

With any other product you could return this on the basis of being unfit for purpose.
