I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan so I have waited with bated breath for this book to materialise and it does not disappoint. If you want to read the definitive story of Robert Plant, rock's 'golden god', you'll get close to it here. It charts Plants rise to fame from the early years to the mighty Zeppelin and right up to the present. Along the way Rees details all the excesses and tragedies and the music of Plant's amazing adventure. Lots of new interviews, too, with insiders like Richard Cole, Zeppelin's tour manager, Roy Harper and the infamous Kim Fowley.
