Cheap and cheerful but surprisingly sturdy at that price range. Works straight out of the box. No need for the supplied power cable in my case. USB cable is a little short if used with a PC but perfect for a laptop/notebook. I burned many hundreds of photos onto discs for a friend and no failed discs when burning.

I can understand why there are FIVE star and ONE star reviews. Five star product but setting up gets a one star rating. The instructions are abysmal. Maybe it depends on your operating system for ease of set-up but I had to resort to a You Tube video which, although in what looks like Thai language, I gleaned enough to get it set up on my computer. Once you master the set-up it works well.
