4.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 15 Dec 2013
ACT was mentioned by my mindfulness meditation teacher during a class so I decided to explore further. This book is really written for therapists rather than the general reader but it can be interesting and useful to anyone. There are lots of little exercises that anyone can try.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fascinating read, 15 Dec 2013
This is a text book for serious students, therefore it's not an easy read for a layperson, but the subject matter is fascinating. I'd recommend reading 'Zen and the Art of Consciousness' by the same brilliant author first to get an introduction to the subject
Edexcel GCSE Chinese Student Book by K. Carruthers

The print is rather small and the layout congested. There is almost no revision of the elementary stages (therefore, don't be tempted to buy it if you are a relative beginner). It is not particularly user friendly, and tends to revolve mainly around getting marks in an exam rather than actually engaging with the language.
