The Blackhouse: Book One of the Lewis Trilogy by Peter May
4.0 out of 5 stars Atmospheric mystery, 13 Jan 2013
Oh how I want to visit Lewis! Maybe I'll wait until summer though! This is perhaps the most beautifully descriptive book I have ever read in this genre. It is extremely well written and had me gripped to the final page. Can't wait to read the next two in the trilogy.

The descriptive text puts many a travelogue to shame. it's a big book - a saga… Read more
