Wow. Best book I've read so far this year. Children Alice and Boone Fendar are convinced that their stepfather, Simon Jester, will kill them. Meanwhile, Boone has been writing to Persely Snow, who keeps escaping from the insane asylum. Soon, the children meet Persely, and their mother Meg urges them to run away. Highly suspenseful, compelling and shouldn't be missed. (A+)
