This review was so close to being added to the one star. Let me explain why.

I have been buying from Amazon for more years then I care to mention. But never have I had to wait over a month for a product to land itself on my door mat.

I have never had to contact a seller regarding my products location. In fairness they did contact me back apologising for the delay. I was so close to cancelling my order today. After reading some of the other reviews I could not help but feel slightly unnerved as to whether I was going to receive anything in the post.

Silent Hill - A revelation?, 27 Mar 2013

Okay. Now being a huge fan of the Silent Hill franchise it was only a matter of time before I purchased this blu-ray edition. I missed out at seeing this at the cinema, so couldn't wait for it's release.

My review is based on the product as a whole and not just the film.

The case for this blu - ray is a steelbook case. On the front - Dark Alessa and on the rear one of the blind nurses. The detail in the cover is beautiful and has been well thought out.

Inside the case are a blu-ray copy of the film and a d.v.d copy. An additional digital version would have set this off nice, but hey - ho.

As blu ray tranfers go this is brilliant. It has everything you could possibly want from the Matrix world. Hours upon hours of extra behind the scenes. The films themselves are in a class of their own and the blu ray treatment jut makes all the more enjoyable. You must buy.
