Remington F3800 Dual Foil Shaver by Remington
I bought this from Argos about a year ago as I wanted a budget shaver and this seemed to fit the bill. I only need to trim non-beardie areas so I can't comment on how clean a shave it provides, though I did notice it leaving random bits of hair here and there. This wasn't a problem to start with though as the trimmer sorted these out ... that is until the day I flipped open the trimmer and it flew off across the room! The charging light is also annoying - it just stays solid green when it's plugged in so you have no idea when it's fully charged, and there is no early warning of low charge - the shaver just slowly grinds to a halt. I was tempted to give this 3 stars to reflect the disappointment I felt when exiting the cinema, but I feel this may be mainly the result of the lavish praise heaped on this film by critics and that when I watch it again on the small screen I will enjoy it more. The pre-credits sequence is great, and I loved the last 20mins or so set at Skyfall, but the stuff in between is pretty so-so. Not unlike QoS, the main purpose of the "plot" seems to be to get 007 to as many exotic locations as possible, and what he does there is either pointless, baffling, silly, and often all three. Things happen that are either not fully explained or which just don't make sense, much of the dialogue is bland… Read more
