1.0 out of 5 stars Veyr bad writing, 29 Oct 2008
I have to agree with most of the negative reviews of this book on Amazon. It is obvious that the author has only a rudimentary grasp of how to construct a novel. There is frequent repetition of phrases, a narrow vocabulary, lack of tension, poor character development, wooden dialogue and no plausibility at all (I know it's supposed to be paranormal but I'm not talking about the premise here - it's the characters that are two-dimensional). Basically, it is like a B-movie in book form. The central relationship is contrived and feels unnatural and there is literally nothing to keep you reading. ... why this supremely talented artist was dropped by his record company. He certainly had potential to be a mainstream success (look at Amy Winehouse). I really don't understand it.

I do hope he finds another record label, as I'm sure he is destined for greatness. Just one listen to this record confirms this. I seriously recommend Tyler James's debut, if you can get hold of it. Every track on the album is fantastic, absolutely no filler. This is music of the highest quality.
