I bought 'The Quran' the one before this one which doesnt have the arabic next to it and it was great piece of work that MAS did on it. It flowed nicely and effectively and really helped me understand the quran like never before. Since then I have bought a few more books to help increase my knowledge in islam and when i saw this book had the arabic next to the english i thought it could be a good way to try and may be pick up some arabic at the same time and help me pick up on the language of arabic, as well as learning its contents.

The arabic is pretty small though. It would have been good if the arabic took up the whole page as this book is written with the standard size quran… Read more
Ultramarathon Man: Confessions of an All-Night Run&hellip by Dean Karnazes
4.0 out of 5 stars Crazy dude, 16 Oct 2013
I don't know how this guy does it. Running the amount of miles he does, the frequency of his runs and I bought this book thinking it'll help me get a bit more active and get some sort of inspiration from this book. This guy is unique, he writes well, inspires and you feel the pain with him when he describes the running events he's done or when he just goes out for a run for the fun of it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and its right what some people have said it'll definitely get you out and about for a… Read more

After reading his book 'a thousand splendid sons' I never knew a book could be so moving, so detailed to create a vivid image in your head and that you would feel something for the characters in the book. I eagerly anticipated this book and it did not disappoint.

It is a slow book in some parts but Khaled Hosseini has the power to captivate you and, again, it makes you feel you have a close bond with the characters in this book that when something adverse happens to the characters it hurts you too. This book finished so well, you're yearning that it'll finish positively, and in some ways it does but you feel absolutely… Read more
