The Eagle's Shadow (Caradoc Book 1) by Keith Nixon
Was life really that tough 2 millennia ago here in Britain? Yes it almost certainly was and Keith Nixon has done a fine job to weave several sub plots into this at times brutal Roman invasion thriller. I enjoyed The Eagle's Shadow immensely.
The Mailman Went UA (A Vietnam Memoir) by David Mulldune

An excellent read about a young man having to deal with situations daily that make you shake your head in disbelief. It's isn't a literary classic, it's not meant to be. It is simply written, thoroughly honest and thought provoking. I really enjoyed it.
Dream Land: A Konstantin Novella (The Konstantin N&hellip by Keith Nixon
One of the reviews of the latest keith Nixon novel Dreamland said "buy it, read it, enjoy it. So I did, I did and I most certainly did! Unpleasant characters fill the quick fire chapters centred around Konstantin, the Russian with a questionable past on Kent's seaside coast. It's all a bit grubby, sordid and despairing the atmosphere the novel creates but I found it entertaining and amusing. There's more to come from the disagreeable yet oddly likeable Konstantin in further stories for sure so roll on the next novel Mr Nixon please.
