Noctua NF-F12PWM Case Fan 120 mm by noctua
I used this to replace the very noisy stock XFX HD5870 fan on my graphics card.I took off the fan and cowling, then attached my new fan using pieces of earth wire from the center of 1.5mm twin and earth cable.It was not a difficult thing to do and the relief from the silence that followed was so good.Noctua have made a convert of me.I think that i will try one on my Artic 7 Pro CPU heat-sink, once i figure out how to attach it.

The item description would leave you to believe that you were buying a set of books.I received one arbitrary book from the title description.The book was cheap but left me feeling that i would not know what i would receive if i tried to reorder to complete the set.Someone needs to rewrite this add as it may be against the trade descriptions act.

I have four hard drives and two operating systems.I was thinking of building my own switching system when I came across this item.The descriptions of it are all about being rugged and of metal construction,but the truth is that it is frail and mostly plastic.Little care is taken in assembly and obviously none in quality control.Screws were at an angle and one led did not work due to a resister being installed in the wrong direction.Be aware that the cables which go to the hard drives are quite stiff and require extra head room.I could not fit mine to the top rail because of this.
