Watching the Dark: The 20th Dci Banks Mystery (Ins&hellip by Peter Robinson
5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best!, 8 Jun 2013
I have read nearly all of Peter Robinson's books and this one rates very highly. It is different in that Banks is 'stationed' in Estonia for most of the novel while Annie Cabot is in Eastvale. The two strands of the story are brilliantly twined to make a gripping read. Highly recommended!

I was disappointed with this book - when I cooked for a family, I had many ingredients in the store cupboard. Now I can't afford to buy lots of spices, herbs, purees etc as they go out of date long before they are finished/used. Since this is a book for one person I expected that not so many 'special' ingredients would be used. I have tried two recipes and have been disappointed with both of them - bear in mind I have been cooking happily for many, many, years!! Now what am I going to do with the herbs, spices, sauces, purees etc which I bought in my initial enthusiasm???!!
Timex Ladies Watch T2N191P4 with Black Oval Dial a&hellip Timex
4.0 out of 5 stars Timex watch, 2 Dec 2011
On the whole I am very pleased with this watch. The bracelet feels firm and 'safe' without being clunky. It's a smart addition to the watch itself. The watch has a slightly oval face which is attractive. The one problem is that the face is black which makes it difficult to read in certain light. Otherwise the numbers are clear. I am happy to recommend it.
