Masterplug SRGAUSBPB-MP Surge Protected Mains USB &hellip by Masterplug
3.0 out of 5 stars Why All The Lights?, 30 Jan 2014
I bought this as a way of charging a phone and other USB device at night while allowing the bedside socket to be used for other things. It certainly charges devices well - it's not the fastest but my phone is fully charged in the morning. It doesn't do well with both a phone and an iPad - which will be down to the amount of charge needed - but a phone and other devices seem fine. So, in essence, it does the job but I've only given it 3 stars because the socket lights up with two LEDs when plugged in which, in my use case at night, is rather distracting. I don't see the need for the LEDs to light unless there is an issue - my device will happily show if it is charging or not. So, if you'd… Read more
CafeTutto (Nespresso compatible) Capsules Taster B&hellip by CafeTutto
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The Cafetutto taster box comes with a selection of flavours including a decaff option. The box is nicely presented with a handy taste card. It would make a good gift for a Nespresso owner.

I really didn't see much of a difference when making coffee with them - although the taste card suggests you may need to apply more pressure when inserting the capsule into the machine. I felt the collection tray ended up holding more liquid afterwards - as though these capsules held onto more water - but it's a minor point… Read more

The second volume of Chris Mullin's diaries that I have read and, as an inside account of the British Parliament at the end of the first decade of the 21st century, it's both reassuring to see that many representatives in The House are not in it purely for self gain, having loftier aims that benefit us all, and disappointing to discover that Honourable Members, just like the any group anywhere, can be back-stabbing and self-serving. Mullin clearly falls into the former but his ringside seat for the end of the Blair era, the expenses debacle, the arrival of Gordon Brown and the self-destruction of New Labour is fascinating. I don't know if the diaries are well edited, or well written in the… Read more
