Should anyone be interested in the dimensions (always a plus, for an item of luggage, no?), they are: (approx) 71cm (H) x 40cm (W) x 29cm (D). According to the Berghaus website, that is.
I am rarely moved to write product reviews, but having bought my Beem a month ago with only one previous review to go on, I wanted to share my experience so far.
Item was shipped directly from Germany, so took somewhat longer than originally expected, but response to my query was reassuring and it promptly arrived the very next day. As expected, the plug is of continental (two-pin) type and after fiddling with adapters, I cut it off and attached a UK plug, though the cord might have been longer.

I bought this Echostar Freeview+ HD unit this August (2012), to supplement my Sky+ HD satellite box which can only handle one channel at a time due to a weak signal, but that's another story. As a back-up, I used this Freeview unit only intermittently over the past few months, but liked its slim design, functionality and picture quality.
However, having now returned from a 4-week trip away, imagine my disappointment at the complete failure of the Echostar box, with hard disk not responding and all recordings lost. No 'Homeland' series 2 for me, nor the last three Formula One races of the season, nor any of the other shows I was relying on it to record.
