As someone who is always on the look-out for a new approach to thriller writing, I can recommend "the Teleios Ring"
Inevitably, as you might expect from any first novel, there is a degree of rawness in the narrative which happily in this case is refreshing, readable and moves along at a sharp pace. The dialogue in particular has to be on it's toes in order to keep up with a plot that has more twists and turns and red-herrings than a coalition government.
The character profiles in several cases could be more finely drawn but there are lots of gems, some rough, some highly polished. There is no ubiquitous sleuth thereby allowing the characters to be highly interactive and to bounce… Read more
