Dark City (Repairman Jack Novels) by F. Paul Wilson
5.0 out of 5 stars Just Jack, 1 Nov 2013
Unlike the latter part of the adversary cycle where we knew where we were heading, this and cold city give us FPW having fun. The absence (well, almost) of the overarching, portentous "end of the world" arc means "just jack", which frees FPW, and injects energy and enthusiasm into the various interwoven storylines that are expanded in the style of the short stories.

It's an enjoyable listen and I'll be backing it up with Kindle shortly-not to be missed.

Tried the Windows 7 one which slowed it down so stick to XP for now (It works- stop being software fashion victims).I would suggest some Ibuprofen as you can get neckache until you get used to the screen angle. Its so good that my other third smiled at the white colour, muttered men and their toys- I put it down and quess who has been using it for the last two hours!!
Tip 1 power managed its lasts for ages- ran excell and security software and IE for an hour and still 91% left.
Tip2 Got a lot to do then it overclocks (goes faster) to handle it.
Tip3 I have a PDA which is… Read more
