I have read many reviews of "complete studio sessions", and this is the only one I have in my collection.
It really is worth the price: astonishing music, and superb accompanying information and photos.
I feel to weary to describe each disc (I usually put some effort into any appraisal), but can merely state a mundane phrase: every disc is a delight; and it all serves as a fascinating insight into how hours of studio time was boiled down to one album.
If you already own the original CD, and want this set, DON'T get rid of it! You will lose the spoken commentary bit at the end of the original.

"The Cowboy And The Lady", "Trouble Is A Lonesome Town", and many others (when are the "Smells Like" label going to release the "Best Of" CD mentioned in "The Wire" many years ago?): all brillant. But this compilation is not too impressive.
Only "In Our Time", "The Nights" and the best track ("My Autumns's Done Come": probably worth the price in itself) engaged my ears.

"Sand" is a limp version of the masterpiece he recorded with Nancy Sintatra on "How Does That Grab You?" The same with My Baby Cried."

I re-read it recently, 20 years after discovering a hilarious novel.
This time it was much more than that; tragi-comic, and a masterpiece. AVOID THE FILM!
The first reviewer shot my fox. Nothing to add.
