Quality Badminton Set 4 players by Badminton
5.0 out of 5 stars Badminton Gold!, 13 Aug 2012
I gave the set to a small residential community where it was an enormous success with everyone, play continuing on the lawn until the light faded. An alternative to watching the Olympics, even! So popular that the shuttlecocks wore out within a couple of weeks, but were quickly replaced. Very good value in every way.
Now All Roads Lead to France: The Last Years of Ed&hellip by Matthew Hollis
5.0 out of 5 stars Edward Thomas, 15 Feb 2012
Excellent account of the last years of one of our finest but most neglected poets. Sensitive analyses of his poems in the context of his his personal life and the moeurs of the period. Interesting portraits of some of the artistic figures of the day, such as Robert Frost and Rupert Brooke, and their often tumultuous relationships. Thomas was a difficult man who turned from literary criticism to writing his own poems shortly before his early death at Arras, France, in the Great War. A tragedy for English poetry.

Of historical interest, I suppose, but the subtlety of Shakespeare's text is massacred in the cause of heavy-handed homosexuality. Tedious and incomprehensible in parts.
