Ante's Inferno by Griselda Heppel
Ante's Inferno by Griselda Heppel

Great story telling around characters you'll love and hate and then miss once the last page is gone. I like writers like Heppel who engage and entertain in an intelligent way playing with "me the reader": as I step into the shoes of their characters nothing is going to be straightforward and as the roller coaster gathers pace one reads faster and faster. One more chapter before I turn the light out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read, 21 Aug 2012
When I bought this book my wife looked very surprised (Nora Roberts!). When I told her it was a great read she was disbelieving. She finished it last night and can't stop singing its praise.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favourite cook book, 21 Aug 2012
It's thicker than any cook book I have, with probably three or four times as many recipes, yet in three years I haven't found one recipe that doesn't work. Extraordinary, virtually every dish is delightful. We have at least 50 other cook books but this is the one to get if you don't have it.
