I listened to the CD every day in the first week and have been listening to it on occasion since and I can recall maybe 5 of the 100 or so phrases. I figure this is because Earworms for all the "science" just isn't a natural way to learn. Or it just doesn't work for everyone.
I bought Michel Thomas Greek instead and recall pretty much everything.
From the opening coupling of Andy's Saltire / Maggie's Pancakes you know you're in for a treat. The playing and the arrangements are simply full of the joy of life. There's a real mix here - not only of styles (melancholy airs to jigs that make you want to get up and dance) but also of accompanying instruments (including an organ on the beautiful closing piece "The Joy of Itl". A thoroughly recommended CD.
