3.0 out of 5 stars Audiobook review!, 6 Feb 2013

I think that was a little misleading as i look at the number of 5 stars when i buy a product rather than reading through every review, so it gave the impression that this product was much better than it turned out to be. I rarely write reviews but i was compelled to write one for this.
If any of you have watched the TV version of the Gruffalo then don't buy the audio book! The story is great but Imelda Stauntons voice for the mouse sets my teeth on edge every time i hear this. I have lots of quilt books but unfortunately very few have much substance/ value for money. This is the most comprehensive book i have ever seen on patchwork/quilting. There are hundreds of beautiful traditional quilts and all give instructions and termplates on how to make them. I have made 3 quilts from it, and am currently trying to get this book back from my mother who also loves it (and is on her 2nd quilt!) - i have another on order for her and then i'll finally get it back!!

If you want a laugh, and you've ever knitted anything then this is for you!!

Full of witty knitting observations that we all know....but can't put into words. You spend the whole book saying..."Haha...yes i've done that!" Buy it...you won't regret it!!
