In My Own Words:
Hi,

many thanks for dropping-in on my 'profile page'.

My main areas of reading interest revolve around True Crime, Atheism and (a little) American political history.

I have had a life-long interest in the assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK, Medgar Evers and Malcolm X, to name but a few.

The Bay of Pigs invasion, The Cuban Missile Crisis, Watergate, Vietnam and Iran-Contra are also subjects that … Read more

Impossible: The Case Against Lee Harvey Oswald (Vo&hellip by Barry Krusch
In this volume, chapter one deals with the author's, `Proposition One, Element Three: Oswald The Only Person On the Sixth Floor'.

This `proposition' did not form any part of the charge against Oswald and is, therefore, irrelevant. The charge against Oswald makes no mention of him being `the only person on the sixth-floor'.
The postulated presence of others on the sixth-floor at the time of the shooting would have a bearing on the conspiracy supposition but it does nothing to remove Oswald from the location. This argument does not make the case against Oswald `impossible'.

1.0 out of 5 stars It's still Oswald..., 28 April 2013
This volume seeks to further the author's argument that there was `no case' against Oswald and that he would not have been convicted at trial.

Volume one was largely disappointing but was redeemed by its final chapter in which Barry K highlighted the discrepancies between the photographic record of the 6th floor crime scene and the subsequent handling and documentation of the shell-case evidence.

Volume Two does nothing to advance Barry's contention at all.

The bulk of the book is dedicated to the arguments that have long been advanced about the possibility of more shots fired than Oswald could have discharged. Whether these arguments have any validity or… Read more

I bought this book because it promised some interesting discussion and perspectives on the legal case against Oswald. I have long pondered the possibility that there were matters that might have compelled a judge to declare parts of the evidence as inadmissible and that, of course, would have jeopardised the prospects of a conviction.

Fortunately - for this reader - the book does, in the end, discuss the really important issue of the identification and transmittal of crucial evidence; specifically, the shells found on the 6th floor.
Unfortunately this most interesting and important material has to wait until the very last chapter of the book before it is presented… Read more
