Foscam FI9821W V2 H.264 Wireless/Wired Pan/Tilt IP&hellip by Foscam
4.0 out of 5 stars Good picture, 18 July 2014
I'm familiar with these type of cameras having had some of the cheap 640x480 ones for a while. It took me while to get on to the camera because I forgot the default non-standard port nunber. This one has HTTPS which makes for a more secure connection over the internet but the real joy is the image which is loads better than the 640x480 versions. I have a powerline network which is part of a remote server access system and it occasionally freezes up so you lose remote connection to some of the devices . To fix it you just unplug the main powerline plug and plug it back in which is OK unless you are not at the office, hence we bought this to bounce the power to the powerline plug - and it works, it remains to be seen whether it works long term, however the setup was not without trauma and I think Belkin could do better in terms of controlling the product and its support. The first thing I need to get off my chest is why is there no windows app for this product? There should be one - I don't care what you say. The next is the… Read more
