This series is going to be huge - or it deserves to be, at least. It's scary in all the right ways, always inventive and surprising without ever resorting to the cheap or lazy tactics of so many other books in the chidlren's horror genre. This is definitely one of the best and will be a huge hit with reluctant readers especially. So if you're a parent or librarian and you know kids who might not be reading as much as they should, check out the devilishly good Mr Mumbles!

This series has such a clever concept - a school where kids with potential are taken to learn to be VILLIANS! And with such a strong concept, the books do not disappoint. This first book, especially, is a thrilling and fun read, very inventive, and you'll want to devour it in one sitting.

Perfect choice for any kids who are otherwise reluctant to read, or kids who like things like James Bond but want something a bit lighter for some fun reading.

Buble is a wonderfully accomplished singer with all the confidence of a classic ratpacker, but he can also bring vulnerability to the ballads that lift his performances to the very highest level.

There is nothing particularly new or outstanding about the arrangements of these great songs, but they are always done tastefully, and with a degree of subtlety that's very rare in a modern vocalist.
