I bought this fan with a hope that I can stay cool at my desk when the climate gets hot and humid. Now that recent heatwave hit many parts of the UK, I can say that this fan is not effective enough for me. I use this when I am working with my laptop but in order to feel the effect of the fan I need to keep this fan so close to my face ( 15cm distance at the moment). Even then the air doesn't flow straight into my face, but it dispersed into sideways, so you would just feel gentle air flowing towards you. The noise level is just tolerable, but because the fan is very light and has no solid base, if it is not placed in the secure straight surface, the fan starts to rotate itself ! The only… Read more

I must say I was very disappointed with this book and thought it was a complete waste of 5.99 and time. Is this author really one of the top authority in the area of Social Anthropology ? The quality of this book suggests to me otherwise. I read one of Humanities subjects at university ( not social anthropology though) and thought I could have written a similar book like this had I been given a chance. Mostly it's about generalisation of the English and irritatingly enough an English class system crops up now and again to explain the behavioural patterns of the English in the society. If you are sitting for CISMP exam, this is the primary guide book you should read first before tackling the exam. The book should cover almost all aspects of the exam topics you need to know to pass CISMP. You could pass the exam by reading just this book alone if you stick to your own well-devised strategy in preparing for the exam like I did or simply you dare to take a chance with a minimum hours of study!
