5.0 out of 5 stars This is perfection, 19 Mar 2005
When a band sit down and discuss what direction they are going to take with an album there is sometimes a rare occasion when a band will pretty much throw everything that is considered essential for the genre out of the window, this album is one of those occasions.
Atomship have created a completely original album from start to finish, every aspect is perfect, the drumming is amazing.
When this album gets heavy it knocks you down, when it gets melodic it lifts you up and when you finally settle you feel like have are listeing to something special and one of a kind.
If you want to be taken on a musical journey with plenty of double bass buy it now.

When a band create an album to this standard it really does make you look at some bands on the metal scene and hang your head in dissapointment.
The texture of every song is amazing, this is a band who are quite litteraly going to own 2005. Usually i would recommend what tracks stand out but for stabbing the drama they all do.
If you like your metal music to be melodic, dark, intense and full of creativity then this is the album for you, sweeden really is leading by example.
Recoil (Clean Version) [Us Import] ~ Nonpoint
Nonpoint make sure we are all still listening with recoil. Theres no soft approaches and no filler tracks, they pretty much pick a tempo and and hammer along at that pace from start to finish.
Heavy in a fresh way, the lyrics are instantly picked up and on your second listen you are singing along....exactly what any song should do. Its a great album, even better if you have been there since day one with struggle, statement, development and now recoil.
3 Thumbs up
