I always find when using screen protectors (primarily for my smart phone) that they're more effective if they leave a little bit of room around the edge. Otherwise it's pretty impossible to fit accurately because there's no margin for error. These could do with being just a bit smaller - I found that I wasted one because I kept having to take it up to re-position the protector and eventually the adhesion becomes less effective. I got there in the end, but it wasn't easy.
I also wonder how they'll fare in sunlight, as they are quite shiny, unlike the Kindle sceen itself. In fairness, however, that might be the case with any other products out there.
I think these are far better than any other screen protector I've used for two reasons.
The first is that the fit is better: they do leave a slight gap around the edge as others have noted, but this is barely noticeable; in design terms, I think this is much better than other screen protectors that go to the very edge and leave no room for error. My experience is that with other products, they fit so tightly that when you put a case on the phone, the case lifts up the edge of the screen protector and it starts to come unstuck. This is certainly a powerful cleaner, and I was impressed by how clean it got my carpets for the short period of time it worked. However, it broke within the first two days of pretty light use, leaving me with a real concern over the build quality. On its second outing, I realised that the spin scrub brushes had stopped rotating; and I eventually discovered that the plastic spindle that connects the brush assembly to the drive mechanism had completely sheared off.
