Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Collection [DVD] DVD ~ Jeremy Brett

I was a child when this series began airing in Portuguese television, and they made quite an impression on me.

I don't remember the character Dr. Watson being played by David Burke, but only by Edward Hardwicke. Only in recent reruns of this series I've been aware that Dr. Watson had been played by two actors.

The feeling I had, viewing those series, was that Jeremy Brett was really Sherlock Holmes. The quality of this series is undeniable and for anyone who has seen but one episode knows that is true!

The quality of the image is excellent and at the price this collection is, is definitely an excellent buy!
Hurting Distance: Culver Valley Crime Book 2 by Sophie Hannah
This was the first book I've read from Sophie Hannah and for me was great debue.

This is a story of a woman who loves a man unconditionally even though he's a married man. When he fails one of their encounters, she knows that he's missing and she'll do everything in her power to find him.

This is a very good thriller and I was very much surprised through out the book and the ending, that was the best! I couldn't figure it out...

Because of this book I'll read more of Sophie, I'm really curious about Little Face and Point of Rescue.

I've read most of the reviews written, and with some I agree, with others not so much.

Most have said much about the plot, and I think I don't need to say much more.

What I can tell you is that, this book has some memorable characters. Usually a character doesn't bring to dislike him like I did with William Hamleigh.

I was in a constant array of emotions such as love, hope, despair, anger, just to name a few.

Although this book is about a 1000 pages long, it's a very pleasurable book to read.

And it was a bit difficult for me with some… Read more
