Sorry to burst everyones bubble, but speaking as a Teen Witch of five years, this book is utter trash, both for its own sake and for Wicca's sake. If your looking for an easy to read introduction to Wicca, then choose this.. This is simple and well written (without being patronising) and still manages to be cute and catchy without being sickly sweet. This is particularly good for teenage readers, I think, and it emphasises correctly the proper importance of Wicca, not spells on how to get your old boyfriend back or turn his new girlfriend into something squishy. Also a great book for anyone interested in the truth of Wicca, it quashes the 'satanic, animal-sacrificing' rumours quickly and gets down to business. six out of five, far better than a lot of the rubbish that floats around on the wannablessedbe's shelf!
