These are great wellies if you have a wide foot & high instep. Unfortunately I don't & could easily have gone down a size. However I've kept them & put a very thick insole inside.

Another reviewer mentioned the tight calf. I must add that these wellies are similar material to a scuba wet suit & very flexible. Yes they fit tight around the calf but they're meant to. They stretch to whatever your calf size is. After a few wears they mould to your exact calf shape. I like this as whatever you're doing the boot remains on your foot, no chance of it slipping off in thick mud or a bog or any rain getting inside via the top.

I have to start by saying this is the best book I've read this year & fully deserving of it's 5 star rating.

The story centres around Maggie, a young girl growing up in the slums of London witnessing the death & disease, struggle & poverty of the 19th century.
A time when Nuns ruled with an iron fist, baby farming was rife & factories were rising with little care for the health & safety of the unfortunate workers.
