I heard this album when it first came out after I had just started High School, at the time I thought that music meant bands like 2-Unlimited & chart music. Then my bro gave me a copy of Angel Dust and it blew me away. Its an old cliche, but this album changed my life - it is THAT good. Every song is a master piece & completely unique, no 2 songs on this album sound the same & their subjects are just as unique. FNM set the standard for every band that has followed them and as far as I'm concerned, forget Nirvana, good as they were its these guys who were the most influencial band of the 90's. I defy anyone who listens to this album & does not love it or at the very least find it… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars The Donnas rule!, 8 Dec 2004
I've always thought The Donnas were pretty amazing based on their albums 'Turn 21' and 'Spend The Night' but this album just sent my opinion of them through the roof. This album is a more polished & varied group of songs compared with their older stuff but they have pulled it off without losing what made them so appealling to begin with - different, but the same & better - if that makes any sense!! Oh, and the DVD just confirms that lead guitarist Allison is the hottest girl on planet rock n roll too!

Everyone knows the TBS background and a lot of people feared the worst when John & Shawn left the band - stop panicking because now we have 2 amazing bands instead of 1!
Straylight's album is carried mostly by 'Tension & Terror', 'Existenialism on Prom Night' and 'Mistakes We Knew We Were Making' which are way too good for my simple words to describe. The rest of the album is pretty damn good too and only loses it's fifth star because of 'Tool Sheds & Hot Tubs' which is a little bit too disco for my liking and its pretty obvious that John let his sis get this one on the CD as a little dig at a certain someone from TBS!
