I am a big fan of this series, I like the realism of the characters as well as their imperfect relationship which for me enhances the actual storylines which are modern day murder mysteries. This particular book was one of the best, the plot had more depth and overall I felt it was very well thought out and written. It revisits a murder case from the past and links it very successfully with present day circumstances. Although it gets the reader thinking it isn't confusing or so complicated that you literally 'lose the plot' . Diana the Huntress (The Six Sisters Series) by M.C. Beaton

Another hilarious book from M C Beaton from the Six Sisters series. Diana is the 5th sister and it seems she is very unlikely to get married as she prefers to dress as a man to go hunting which is enough to make all the other ladies swoon and faint with horror if only they knew. This book follows the same format as the other Sisters books, with a rich suitor who appears to be the baddie and a good looking one who pretends to be rich and charming but is the opposite. The tale twists and turns with lots of misunderstandings and the couple in denial of their love for each other. Agatha Raisin: Hell's Bells (A Short Story) by M.C. Beaton

All the agatha raisin known and loved trademarks but in a super-short story. Just perfect for filling a few minutes waiting for the potatoes to cook etc.
