I found this a strange book the begin with, but soon found I couldn't put it down. It is written with great expertise, and I would recommend to anyone wishing to 'escape' a little of everyday life. It is very sad, but it is realistic too. The characters are described so the imagination can picture them vividly, brilliant. I won't need to see the film, because it will spoil the book.

Couldn't put this book down. Just when I thought I'd worked out what would happen next, it turned out quite differently. Well written, and very interesting story. Definitely a good read.

Well, I couldn't out this book down. I enjoyed every moment of trying to discover 'who dunnit'. It is a very well written book, keeping the reader in the dark but keeping the suspense high. Consequently, it is an easy read, gripping, and such a relief to be able to read a book which appeals to both children and adults, without any sex or innuendoes. I would recommend this to anyone needing a good book for holiday, for curling up in front of the fire or in a deck chair on a sunny day. Well done, Brian Sellars, I will read more of your books!
