A Beginner's Guide to Changing the World: For Tibe&hellip by Isabel Losada

This is an excellent book. Isabel Losada writes beautifully about her personal experience in trying to live by the serenity prayer - in having the courage to change the things she can, the serenity to accept the things she cannot change and the search to find the wisdom she needs to know the difference. I can only sum up this series in one sentence: I laughed 'til I cried. (And so did the rest of the family).

4.0 out of 5 stars Worthwhile purchase, 3 Feb 2005
This is a worthwhile purchase if you already have a little knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism and, even better, if you have some experience of using TB methods of meditation. Pema Chodron has an easy-listening style, she speaks with clarity and with humour and I'm sure anybody with any kind of curiosity about their spirituality would benefit from listening to these teachings. I rated it four stars because I believe it is a little expensive, but, hey, you can't put a price on spiritual growth!
