A revolutionary of human sexual behaviour, and a new view of human history. Makes you realise that the standard view of human history is mostly propaganda. And perhaps what appears to be normal sexual behaviour - monogamy - isn't natural after all, and it would be better for all of us if we accepted this uncomfortable fact. And on top of its revolutionary nature, this book is an entertaining read. It has some historical similarities with Steve taylor's excellent book The Fall - The Fall: The Insanity of the Ego in Human History and the Dawning of a New Era

after a major push on my time-management, i realized i need a re-assessment of commitments - and first to be tackled was he enormous clutter i had hanging around. after an initial attempt, a friend gave me this book -. fantastic - it helped me to prioritize and stick with my decisions. it's not hard to throw things out - but to let go of the psychological (though often illusory ) benefits we see in most of our clutter. this book helped me to cleanly make and execute those decisions - and I've not looked back once. to my surprise I've not (yet)been able to identify a time when i needed something that i threw out. my clutter was psychological weight - as Thoreau said - 'which i must push… Read more

Another great book from Steve Taylor. from drugs to sleep deprivation, from celibacy to prayer - he explores not only al the ways the mankind has tried to bump - start here awaking experiences but alos exaclty what that means - and most practically - how we can use the gentler, safer and more direct methods to increase our own chances of awakening. recomended
