Working with Precious Metal Clay (Jewellery Handbo&hellip by Tim McCreight
3.0 out of 5 stars Adequate for some, 20 April 2009
This book I'm sure would be adequate for many but it contains no section on firing PMC with a butane torch. This I felt was a large oversight as it seems a much more affordable method for beginners to start working with PMC, particularly as the book appears to be aimed at beginners. It otherwise seemed to be informative but I did not find very inspiring.
The book is set up more to work through projects rather than techniques which made it more limiting to me. Furthermore the author uses small though relatively effective illustrations to explain the techniques. I was disappointed in the lack of photographs which I felt would have been much more effective.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Book, 12 Jan 2006
I read this when I was a teenager travelling through Africa. I had to cover the front image because alongside the stories it scared me to much. Yet these stories drew you in, scarier than any film I've seen yet far more intriging aswell. It's incomparible to any book I've read since. It's in a genre of it's own. Each is an individual master piece, they're beautiful, elequent and twist and turn in the most unexpected ways.
