The original Dragonball has finally been released in the UK completely uncut and what a great series it is. For those who don't know Dragonball was actually made before DBZ and follows the story of Goku's battles and adventures as a child and teenager. In Japan the original comic was called Dragonball for the whole story including the Z part. In other words it was only the anime that added Z onto the title from the part where Raditz arrives so if you haven't watched this you're missing out on the first part of the series. The reason why I think it could be a little better than Z is because of how detailed the fight scenes are. Instead of massive battles for the universe with huge explosions… Read more

I really enjoyed watching this again after so many years. I remember watching it on CBBC and Fox Kids way back in the day and was very excited when I heard it was finally getting a DVD release. Each episode has a different story about different characters, except for the 2 parters, and it's always a whole lot of fun to watch. It's sometimes scary and sometimes funny and all around really nostalgic and awesome. If you haven't seen Goosebumps before treat yourself and get this as it's a lot of episodes for a pretty good price. Some of my favourites on this are the Haunted Mask, Night of the Living Dummy 2, Say Cheese and Die and Welcome to Camp Nightmare.

I've also got Series 2 and… Read more

Dragonball GT is a series which, in my opinion, doesn't get the credit it deserves. I'll admit things don't start out that amazingly but the series picks up after a while and really hits its stride. When GT first started they tried to take it in the direction of the early episodes of the original Dragonball series aka a fun adventure searching for the Dragonballs. While this direction worked great in the original Dragonball and made for some great entertainment, it doesn't really work in GT because the characters are all so powerful and shouldn't really… Read more
