TC Electronic DITTO LOOPER Amps & effects Loopers by TC

I've owned at least 4 looper pedals, none of which have I kept as they're either too complicated or compromise the signal too much. This has both problems sorted - dead easy to use and doesn't interfere with your sound. Once you've sussed it (10 seconds max) you can build up layers or jam to your heart's content. I've already used it for a couple of solo gigs in the pub and it was absolutely brilliant - don't need a second guitarist to sound like a band. Honestly, this and a tubescreamer and you're sorted - an absolute must for every guitar player. Be interesting to see the reaction of the other manufacturers that have gone down the kitchen sink route - Line 6, Roland etc, 'cos this thing… Read more

This is not history - it reads like the Official White House version of events. Gaddis abandons all pretence of objectivity in his determination to put the best possible spin on postwar American foreign policy, and his constant sneering at everyone else soon becomes wearing. For convinced hardline US nationalists only.
Joyo JF-34 Effects Pedal by JOYO

Bought this on the strength of gushing reviews here and elsewhere on the web, but was disappointed when I actually tried it with my setup (Strat into Fender valve amp). It's supposed to sound like a driven amp, and it's better than out and out distortions like the Boss Metal Zone etc, but compared with a Tubescreamer or derivative, it doesn't have the nice gradual descent into clipping as you dig in harder, but rather a threshold above which it squashes into fuzz a bit too quickly for my liking. If you want the sound of a driven amp from a pedal, I'd go for one of the Tubescreamer clones with true bypass - lots of choices from US and Chinese manufacturers.
