Very disappointed with this book, I realise the writing was taken from his diaries, but was it really necessary to let us know every time he was praised for doing his job? Simply comes across as smug.
For a much more engaging read, get the AC diaries, at least he deals with more interesting subjects, less of the day to day minutie.

My husband bought me this book after reading an excert in The Times newspaper, definately one of the best books I've read this year.
I read it in one go! Couldn't put it down.
Laugh out loud funny, especially for anyone who's ever had a "wayward" dog.
This book will be getting passed on many times - once I can get it out of my husbands hands!
Recommend whole heartedly!
